Our highly organised and professional shows involve the following costs:

CONCERT LEVY:

$60 per dancer which covers the cost of music licenses, extra rehearsals, copy of music, and program.

Dance Venture provides a full service to ensure there is very little for parents and dancers to do. We strive to be environmentally conscious by re-wearing, re-styling and repurposing costumes. Your costume hire goes towards: storing, organising, styling, purchasing, altering, fitting, cleaning, maintaining the costumes and transporting and building props. If part of the costume, dancers may be required to provide their own stockings, shoes, jewellery and any other garments considered as underwear. All dancers will need to supply their own shoes as part of their concert uniform.

BENEFIT CONCERT - 26th June 2023 - 1st July 2023

These concerts are provided for many reasons. They are a great preparation for our end of year performances at All Saints Theatre and the students really enjoy and learn from their experience. The concerts are held at our studio and require little or no costume. ALL students from ALL classes are involved with a display of class work and specially prepared dances.

The concerts are held throughout the last week of term and NORMAL classes are not held. Younger students (Twinkle Toes, Ballet Club 1) will perform only once but all other students will get the opportunity to perform on two or more occasions (depending on their age). Please check the timetable for YOUR concert dates and times.

If you have not yet purchased your child’s proper uniform, please attend to it before the concerts as that is what all students will be wearing. Consult your child’s teacher for more information.

CONCERT FEES:

$10 at the door Parents and friends who wish to view these concerts must purchase tickets for each show you wish to attend. There is a limit on seating capacity, so get in early to secure a seat.

CHOREOGRAPHIC EVENING - 25th September, 2023

CONCERT FEES: FREE

Ballet Clubs 1 – 5 are all involved in this performance and we’re hoping to see everyone there. I believe we have some individual choreographies to enjoy also. Please remember to bring your own fold-up chairs and/or cushions to sit on. As all the Saturday ‘ballet club’ classes are involved, the studio is likely to be VERY full of people. The night is usually over by 8.30 or 9pm. It costs a gold coin donation to Friends of Dance Venture to join in the fun and all students receive a prize for participation. The ‘Colouring in Competition’ prizes will be awarded on this evening also. See you there!!!

COLOURING-IN COMPETITION

Open to all students (jazz, contemporary, ballet), aged 10 or under. It will be judged and prizes awarded to winning entries during our Choreographic Evening. Please return your entries to your teacher before the Choreographic Night:
