Laurie is a registered psychologist who works with adults, adolescents and children of all walks of life. She maintains a keen interest in mental health medicine and the performing arts. Laurie has a special interest in working with people affected by trauma, ADHD and dual or complex diagnoses. In addition to these special interests, she has experience working with various other mental health diagnoses, including mood and anxiety disorders, insomnia, grief and loss, interpersonal concerns, career change, stress and burnout, communication problems, binge-eating, abuse, and chronic fatigue.

I fell in love with Pilates back in 2019 when I wanted to focus on my own fitness. I loved how reformer is a full body exercise experience and I enjoy being in a class and having someone motivate me! During covid I found "Breathe Education" and graduated with my Certificate IV in Pilates - Matwork and Reformer.
I currently teach reformer Pilates at Fernwood fitness in Cannington one evening a week. I also enjoy incorporating my knowledge of mat work Pilates into my Tuesday night classes with my senior ballet students here at Dance Venture.
